Privacy Policy for SVG Import

Overview

SVG Import is a Webflow Designer extension for importing SVG code into Webflow projects. We built it with privacy in mind. This policy tells you what data the extension handles, what we collect, and how we use it.

Information We Collect

SVG Code Processing

  • The SVG code you paste into the extension is processed locally, in your browser.
  • We use it only to convert your code into Webflow-compatible DOM elements.
  • We do not store your SVG code on our servers.
  • We do not share your SVG code with third parties.

Analytics Data

We use Fathom Analytics to understand how the extension is used and to improve the service. Fathom collects anonymous, aggregated statistics such as the number of SVGs imported, feature usage patterns, and performance metrics. Referrer data can appear in analytics but is not analyzed.

Fathom does not collect personal information, IP address profiles, or cookies. It never sees your SVG content or your Webflow project details.

Mailing List and Sponsor Forms

The extension includes two optional forms:

  • Mailing list form. If you subscribe, we collect your first name and email address.
  • Sponsor form. If you register interest in sponsoring, we collect your email address.

We send this data to Loops (loops.so), the email platform we use to store our mailing list and send updates. We use your email only to send SVG Import news and sponsor communication. We do not sell it or share it with anyone else. Both forms are opt-in. Using the extension never requires them.

Icon Search

If you use the icon search feature, your search terms are sent to the Iconify API through our server to return matching icons. Search terms are not linked to you and are not stored by us.

How We Use Your Information

  • SVG processing happens locally in your browser to perform the import.
  • Anonymous analytics help us improve the service.
  • Your email address, if you gave it, is used only for the mailing list or sponsor communication you asked for.

Data Storage and Security

  • SVG processing is local. Nothing you import is stored on our servers.
  • Mailing list data (first name, email) is stored by Loops under their security practices until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
  • Our server acts only as a relay for form submissions and icon searches. It keeps no database of user data.

Third-Party Services

  • Fathom Analytics — anonymous usage statistics. Privacy policy: usefathom.com/privacy
  • Loops — mailing list storage and email delivery. Privacy policy: loops.so/privacy
  • Stripe — if you choose to sponsor or donate, payment happens on a Stripe-hosted page. We never see or store your payment details. Privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy
  • Iconify — icon search results. Search terms only; no personal data.
  • Webflow — the extension runs inside the Webflow Designer and is subject to Webflow's terms and privacy policy.

Your Rights

  • You can unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time using the link in any email.
  • You can ask us to delete your email address and any associated data. Contact us and we will remove it from Loops.
  • Analytics data is anonymous and aggregated, so it cannot be linked back to you.

Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect information from users under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We will post updates on this page with a new "Last Updated" date.
